Pink-eared Ducks

Adult pink-eared ducks. The name comes from the slight pink spot above the ears. This species ranges throughout much of Australia, also known as the zebra duck, due to its striking zebra plumage. Pink-eared ducks have a white face with a dark brown crown that extends down the neck and back. Black eye patches with a slight white eye ring, the body is barred in brown and white stripes, they have a long grey, square-tipped bill. Size 36-45 cms. Habitat inland floodwaters
