I work at McMurdo Station, which lets me enjoy the ability to see Emperor Penguins, Adelie Penguins, and South Polar Skuas quite often. We rarely see Arctic Terns here as well.
This is a view of McMurdo Sound, with some Adelie Penguins resting on an iceberg. I took this photo in February, 2010, but the sound has not changed that much over the years I have been here. This view was taken facing to the North, towards the mouth of the sound.
