Spotted towhees are common in the Pacific Northwest, but rarely visit feeders. This male towhee stopped in for some suet during an unusual snow and bitter cold event in the Willamette Valley in December 2013,. Photo shot using a Nikon D300 camera with a Nikkor 300 mm lens from the back porch of our home.
