Traveling along a side road adjacent to Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, we came upon this mating pair of Yellow-billed kites. The image was taken late afternoon, at the end of the dry season (mid-October) from a jeep with a Canon 500mm AF/IS telephoto lens with a 1.4 extender mounted on a trusty beanbag for camera support.
