Two months ago, an unusual appearance of a Whooper Swan in a pond at Miaoli County, Taiwan, was a nice surprise to many birders. After a month, a Common Shelduck, a slightly more frequent visitor to Taiwan, joined the Whooper Swan to stay at the same pond. This photo was taken ten days ago.
