The Jungle Myna is one of the most beautiful mynas I have ever seen. In my last outing I put the front view of this bird, but this time it is the side view that gives you a better picture.
From the side view, one can see the eyes and the crown clearly. What fascinates me of this particular bird is the eyes, which are crystal white and the black spot in the center of the eyeball. Another thing is the feathers standing on the crown, which is the clear identification of the jungle myna.
This bird is seen in pairs but sadly it is missing from many parts of India. It is found in some parts of Maharasthra and Rajasthan. the male female identification is common.
