Yellow-headed Blackbird

As we continued our anniversary trip to South Lake Tahoe, all along we were after this bird who migrates back there in the early Spring. It was a bit cold and we could not find it the first couple of days. On the very last day of our trip, on our Anniversary Day, we walked a bit to get to some marsh lands over bumpy terrain, and finally we found a few of them in the tulles. Not the most ‘crisp’ shot that I would like, due to the location of the sun and the terrible land we had to walk on to avoid the marsh waters, but that gives me a reason to go back. Happy Anniversary to me! Shot using my Canon Mark III with a Canon 100-400 lens.
