I have seen White Ibis in several settings in Florida and always thought they looked so small. Snowy Egrets, on the other hand, did not. And they are both small, but seeing the size comparison of the two together was actually a surprise to me. One of the things I liked about J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge was seeing so many different wading birds and shorebirds fishing and roosting alongside each other.
