This ring-billed gull was one of about 50 perched along a feeding area on the Charles River in Weston, MA. It was one of those cold New England days that one could see waves of ice flows forming on the Charles in the Weston/Auburndale area. The gulls were perched on shoreline and parking lot watching some swans swimming in a small area of exposed water that had not yet frozen.
