This winter it has been so cold that the Great Lakes have frozen over… This is causing many duck species such as the Long-tailed Duck to move more inland to rivers and channels that are not frozen over. This photo was shot in Muskegon, Michigan.. there were huge rafts of waterfowl in the channel leading into Lake Michigan…
