In big Canadian birding news this week, the Gray Jay has been chosen to be Canada’s National bird beating out the Snowy Owl, Canada Goose, Chickadee & Common Loon. They are one of my favorite birds to watch when I’m up in the mountains. Taken at Cypress Mountain, Vancouver, British Columbia.
