This grey-morph Eastern Screech Owl was one tough guy to spot in some woodland in Firestone Metropark here in Ohio. Amazing just how well this owl blends in with the tree and almost becomes the tree in a way. But I think that is what I found most interesting about this shot is the way the owl fluffed its feathers out past the tree cavity in an effort to become part of the tree even more so.
