Common Yellowthroat

This photo was taken in Renews, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. My friend and I were looking for warblers along this gravel road that leads from the community to a small lighthouse when this Yellowthroat appeared. It stayed long enough for me to take a few photographs, but this one was is my favourite as it was hanging upside down to feed on some insects in the alders.

This was taken with a Canon 40D camera and a Canon 300 f4 L lens with a 1.4 teleconverter.
