The Brown-headed Cowbirds enjoy a relaxed summer just hanging around with friends and having a good time. They have no parental responsibilities because they deposit their eggs in the nests of other birds. Yellow Warblers, Veery and Chipping Sparrows often fall victim to these birds. Struggling to raise these big chicks while their own often starve.
