Black-necked Stilt

Location: Bailey Tract, Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Sanibel Island, FL
As is common for the species, this black-necked stilt had its nest at the near a pond. When the pair changed incubation responsibilities, I was able to see three heavily-speckled eggs although only two are visible in this image.
