Say’s Phoebe in Bolivar County, Mississippi. Out of normal area according to range maps in several field guides. It is considered an “accidental or vagrant” bird in this area of the country, but is the second consecutive year I have observed the Phoebe in its present location. 12/21 until 1/22 and 10/22 until present. In recent cold spells it has been feeding almost exclusively on a species of cricket (small black cricket).
