This rosy-finch was spotted at a feeder in Meadville, PA by the homeowner and is the first to be recorded in Pennsylvania. The homeowner reported it to a PA birder, Shawn Collins. The home is in a gated community with limited access, but Shawn made it possible for many birders to see this bird by taking small groups one at a time to view it. The homeowners were extremely accommodating, allowing groups of nearly thirty birders in their living room for hours at a time to view and photograph the bird.
