White-throated sparrow taken 2/3/23 in my backyard in Sumter, SC
I have seen more than the usual amount of white-throated sparrows this year and I know their call sound, but I only discovered their sweet song this winter. I was out for a walk and heard the most beautiful melody and found this sweet little bird sitting on a stump near a brush pile just singing!
