Ivins, Utah. Oct. 26, 2013. 6:00 PM. 1/250 F7.1 ISO 400. It was way to dark to shoot normally so I poped up my flash. He was only about 12 feet away so my flash could reach. He had just caught a house sparrow and was busy eating. The flash didn’t seem to bother him a bit as he let me take a dozen pictures. He only flew away after he finished his sparrow. Sony A77 with a Sony 70/400 zoom at 400. Hand held.
