A young Cooper’s hawk scans the scene moments after arriving at my feeder in Cheshire, CT. I was alerted to its presence by the shrill screams of the Blue Jays that had been feeding there along with several other species. No birds were taken. Nikon D7100, 70-300 mm VR lens, ISO 3200.
