Northern Cardinal

I feel luck to have seen this rare local celebrity of a bird. A genetic mutation causes the feathers to be yellow instead of red. There are supposedly around 15 of them in the whole US. I was able to find him by his singing. This beautiful bird is not to be mixed up with a Yellow Cardinal (of South America), which isn’t that rare.
