A male Mountain Bluebird with a missing right foot. The bird was fully functional, had a mate and was preparing and defending a nest box. On perching he effortlessly used the stump as support. Photographed near Millarville, AB, Canada on 5 May 2020 with a Nikon Coolpix P900.
