Every day on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, we share a photo of the day — a superb image from the more than 22,000 pictures in our Reader Galleries. Our selections from the second half of October 2021 include photos of a hungry Belted Kingfisher, a close-up of a Mourning Dove, an unusually colored Baltimore Oriole, and more!
