Every day on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, we share a photo of the day — a superb image from more than 20,000 pictures in our Reader Galleries. The shots we selected in the first half of October 2020 included a fantastic portrait of a Sandhill Crane, a Black-crowned Night-Heron with a fish, a close-up of an Allen’s Hummingbird, and more!
