Photos of the day: May 1-15, 2022

Every day on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter, we share a photo of the day — a superb image from the more than 22,000 pictures in our Reader Galleries. Our selections from the first half of May 2022 include a trio of Northern Saw-whet Owl owlets, a rare yellow Northern Cardinal, and a couple of species featured on the World Migratory Bird Day poster. Enjoy!
