Each one a work of art: Six photos of birds on nests

“Perhaps nothing speaks to the cleverness and unique behaviors of birds more than the variety of their nests,” wrote Founding Editor Eldon Greij in our August issue. His words inspired us to look for examples of birds’ ingenuity in our online galleries. We found dozens, including the six photos below. We’ll share more in the days ahead.
