Birds we’re watching while hunkered down

As many of us hunker down due to the coronavirus pandemic, we thought we’d ask what birds our readers are seeing and photographing — in your yards, especially, but also in your neighborhoods, local parks, or other birding patches. The situation with the virus is serious and scary, and taking time to watch birds and other wildlife — at feeders or close to home — is good for our spirits. By sharing our photos with one another, we can lift one another’s moods, and that’s important in trying times.
