Brown-headed Parrot

Sabi Sabi is near the southern edge of the range of this small, handsome parrot. Its range is a relatively narrow region from the coast of Kenya to eastern South Africa.

African Pied Wagtail

This striking species is widespread south of the Sahara. It can be seen along rivers and marshes and also visits human towns and villages. This particular bird was checking out the open-air dining area of Sabi Sabi’s Earth Lodge.
