“The golf course behind our house is a frequently visited area for the local Sandhill Crane population,” writes Shawn Baker. “One fall afternoon, a group of Sandhills were mulling about when they decided that a nap was in order. I was able to walk up and sit beside them as they rested. Their curious eyes watched as I took this photo.”
