10 photos of incredible birds from South Africa’s Western Cape

African Black Oystercatcher and White-fronted Plover

While I was photographing this oystercatcher, two plovers were foraging among the same rocks. I lucked out when two of them paused in the frame with the larger bird. Can you see them both? The plover’s range is along coastlines, inland rivers, and estuaries.
