Cedar waxwings enjoying our black gum tree

We had recently moved into our house and hadn't had a chance to identify all the birds in our area. Our son came home for lunch one day and parked his little red car under the shade of our black gum tree. When he went out to get back in his car, we discovered the cedar waxwing flock because his car had been peppered with black "gum drops!"
