Every year my wife & I visit T. M. Goodwin Waterfowl Management Area. It is a wetland restoration preserve. The marsh, mudflats and flatland attract a large variety of ducks, herons, egrets, ibis and birds of prey. Spoonbill, storks & pelicans are common including many songbirds. We happened upon this large flock of diverse birds on one of our trips just at the right time as they were taking flight.
