Egret on a Windy Day

This lonely Egret was resting near the Heron Rookery on Wildwing Lake one very windy day. I had just bought a new tripod and wanted to try it out so I headed to Kensington Metropark, Milford, MI after work to see what there was to see when I spotted this fellow. I love the movement of it's feathers and how the green shoots match the green around it's eye.
