Image Description
Great Blues are omnivorous but their staple is fish. Here a young great blue has speared a flounder. The next step is for it to take it to the shore and let the fish loose usually in a puddle of sea water and stab it repeatedly (to soften it up) and then try and get the fish into its beak head first. It may take a long time depending on the size of the fish
