The Long Meadow Unit (orange) of the Minnesota Valley NWR is only five minutes from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Mall of America. To reach the visitor center from I-494, exit at 34th Ave. and go south one block to American Blvd. Turn left (east) on American and drive a quarter mile past the Hilton Hotel to the entrance.
