See website

Immerse yourself in the unique biodiversity of the Sonoran Desert and Sky Islands during southeast Arizona’s lush ‘Second Spring’.  Featuring guided field trips to nearby hotspots like Madera Canyon, California Gulch, Mt. Lemmon. Renowned experts will help you find and identify regional specialties, a variety of migrants, and a dazzling array of hummingbirds plus herps, mammals, butterflies, and more. Enjoy informative natural history programs and workshops and a vendor expo at the Riverpark Inn. Keynote presentations by Christopher Cokinos and Dr. J. Drew Lanham. Don’t miss the Sky Islands Birding Cup, a bold Big Day event on Aug 14. Proceeds from the festival support Tucson Audubon’s local habitat conservation and environmental education programs.
