Featuring guided field trips to nearby hotspots like Madera Canyon, California Gulch, Mt. Lemmon. Renowned experts will help you find and identify regional specialties, a variety of migrants, and a dazzling array of hummingbirds plus herps, mammals, butterflies, and more. Enjoy informative natural history programs and workshops and a vendor expo at the Riverpark Inn. Keynote presentations by Christopher Cokinos and Dr. J. Drew Lanham. Don’t miss the Sky Islands Birding Cup, a bold Big Day event on Aug 14. Proceeds from the festival support Tucson Audubon’s local habitat conservation and environmental education programs.
