Hagerman Bird Festival

The 3rd Hagerman Bird Festival will be centered in Hagerman, Idaho, and will offer guided hikes, boat trips, bird prowls, workshops and speaker events for families and birders alike. The Bird Festival will be held over President’s Day Weekend, February 16-19, 2018. A full schedule of events will be finalized by September 30th, 2017. The 2018 Bird Festival will be similar in structure to the past two festivals with the addition of day-tripper activities and daily bus tours to the event. The headquarters and vendor exhibit hall will again be located at the American Legion Hall, 711 East Avenue North, Hagerman. Keynote speakers have been secured for the Saturday and Sunday evening events. They are Mr. Paul Bannick, an award-winning wildlife photographer with a focus on birds and habitat, and, Mr. Nathan Pieplow, Associate Director & Instructor at University of Colorado. He is also an author and specializes in bird sounds.
