From the Field Webinar: International Crane Foundation

May 21 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join us for our webinar with Guo Zhiwei, China Program Officer, on Thursday, May 21, at 7 p.m. Central Time.

Register for the webinar at https://www.savingcranes.org/from-field-webinar-series/.

Guo says: “In 2019, I spent one month at the Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex studying wetland ecology and management skills. Wetlands are a habitat of cranes and other waterbirds. However, some wetlands encounter dramatic human alteration, which leads to degradation and site disconnection along waterbird migration flyways. How do we manage the altered wetland in a natural way and provide enough food for migratory birds? The wetland ecologists in the Klamath Basin do a good job managing wetlands under this situation. In this webinar, I will share stories about my training and what I learned from this experience.”
