Christmas Bird Count

This year’s count, the 114th, takes place from December 14 through January 5, 2014. You can participate two ways: in the field, with other birders, or, if your home is within a count circle, at home, counting the birds that visit your feeder.

Participation is free. And it’s important, since Audubon and other organizations use the data collected to assess the health of bird populations and to help guide conservation action.
