Growing up on the east coast of Newfoundland, Canada being out in nature was a daily part of life. After joining the Canadian military at age 18 the time spent in other countries got me hooked on birding and this continues now some 41 years later. Photography was something I tried back in 2006 and after seeing and photographing a Great Gray Owl with a used camera the road to being a nature photographer was started. * Any of my images that I uploaded to the gallery here online on to the Flickr group can be used at any time without payment in the magazine. What is most important to me is sharing my images with others. Being credited for the photo with my name is appreciated.
