The White-necked Jacobin inhabits forested areas ranging from Mexico to Peru and south Brazil. This photo was taken at Rancho Naturalista in Costa Rica in early December where he was found to visit the bird feeders outside the lodge. The photo was taken with my Nikon D4, 300 2.8 lens.
