This male Common Yellowthroat was seen near an old farm pond in Anderson County, Tennessee, over several weeks. I set up my blind near a willow tree for several days and captured this image of the bird early one morning when it landed on the tree limb with a caterpillar. I was fortunate to press the shutter before it quickly swallowed its prey.
