A Baltimore Oriole from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park here locally. The CVNP offers a tremendous and diverse habitat for many songbirds. It has become one of my favorite places to shoot, and every year I learn more and more about it and find new areas offering endless avian photo opportunities.
On this particular outing with this Baltimore Oriole, I was shooting with another photographer from Arizona. This was shot in a landscape format as the bird was on the branch, I realized it would lend itself to a Portrait style presentation better, so as I photographed the bird, I also took a few shots below and above the bird and merged the images together in post creating this vertical presentation.
Hope you like it!
