The Citrus County Landfill has some resident Bald Eagles that use the landfill for a source of food. In the winter months, there are more bald eagles that have migrated in. They fly back and forth from the snag on the perimeter of the land fill. Last year there were over 20 adult pairs plus plenty of Juveniles. Here, a Boat-tailed Grackle mobs a young eagle.
