Ivins, Utah. Feb. 22, 2014. 4:01 pm. Beautiful bright sunny, clear 68 deg. this afternoon. We were sitting on the back patio reading and taking pictures of the Lesser Goldfinches and the Sharp-shinned landed and chased everything away. He only stayed on the branch long enough for one shot. In the background are the red mountains at the edge of Snow Canyon St. Park. Sony A77 with a Sony 70/400 zoom at 400. 1/800 F8 ISO 200 from a tripod using a remote shutter release.
