Every year we have red-bellied woodpeckers nest in the woods on our property. We are treated to the parents bringing the youngsters to our suet feeders after they’ve fledged. This youngster was balancing on the clothesline where we keep the feeders (out of bear-range) and calling to its parent to feed it.
