Dark-eyed Junco and House Finch

Ivins, Utah. Dec. 29, 2013. 4:14 pm. It seems the more the winter progresses the more Juncos we see. They seem to prefer to feed on the ground but sometimes they fly up to the feeder post and help themselves. This bird is of the Oregon race. We also get some “pink-sided” Juncos. Sony A77 with a Sony 70/400 zoom at 400 shooting from a tripod. 1/1000 F8 ISO 400.
