Description
Creston is home to the Ramsar designated Creston Valley wildlife Management Area. A significant birding area with over 300 confirmed speices. The festival offers a variety of birdwatching activities guided by qualified field personnel, as well as photography and art displays and bird-oriented workshops. Afternoon events include promotional tours to local farms and orchards, community greenhouses, an organic cheese factory, and a choice of wineries and art studios. Brian Keating, well-known wildlife adventurer and photographer, will conclude the festival with an inspiring presentation entitled “Going High: Three Spirit-lifting Journeys.”

Located on scenic Highway 3 in southern BC. From the US take highway 2 North past Sandpoint, Idaho to the Porthill border crossing.
