Thousands of residents and visitors turn out for the annual event featuring birds of prey shows. As many as 90 booths and exhibits by conservation agencies and organizations, environmental groups and related businesses. Be sure to bring your binoculars and telescopes and warm clothing to see bald eagles, our magnificent national bird, in their natural environment. Free self-guided maps to prime eagle-viewing areas along the Mississippi River in the Quad Cities region and tips on eagle-watching etiquette will be available at the expo. Plus more than two dozen of the nation’s finest wildlife artists displaying and selling their works.
