Description
Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge is holding their annual Songbird Festival from April 26-29, 2012. The programs have been expanded this year and include birding and nature tours, family activities, and exhibits. This is your best chance to see the 2 endangered species the Refuge was created to protect—the Golden-cheeked Warbler and the Black-capped Vireo. For more information, please visit www.BalconesSongbirdFestival.org. Registration opens February 15, and tours fill up fast, so don’t delay!
